OperationsProject Manager

Keystone Solutions is seeking a Scrum Master to join a consultancy mission at a client site. This role involves overseeing two multidisciplinary development teams (developers and functional analysts) in applying Agile/Scrum principles within a DevOps context. The Scrum Master will ensure not only the smooth running of processes but also actively monitor the quality of deliveries through measurable indicators.

  • Agile Process Support and Coaching:
Facilitate all Scrum events for both teams: sprint planning, daily stand-up, sprint review, retrospective, and backlog refinement. Coach teams in self-organization, transparency, and continuous improvement. Ensure the Definition of Ready and Definition of Done are maintained and evolve actively. Identify and eliminate obstacles, particularly organizational blockers outside the team.
  • Technical Assistance and DevOps:
Monitor the CI/CD pipeline's functionality in collaboration with the DevOps team and identify issues (build failure rates, execution time, deployment frequency). Participate in monitoring quality gates: code coverage, static code analysis (e.g., SonarQube), security scans, success rates of automated tests. Promote DevOps practices: trunk-based development, infrastructure-as-code, automated testing, observability. Understand and contribute to tracking technical debt as an explicit backlog category.
  • Functional and Technical Analysis — Liaison Role:
Facilitate collaboration between functional analysts and developers, especially during the phase between requirements and realization. Ensure user stories are sufficiently technically analyzed and estimated before being integrated into a sprint. Monitor the impact of non-functional requirements (performance, security, GDPR, accessibility) on planning.
  • Metrics, Reporting, and Transparency:
Track and report key indicators per team: velocity and velocity stability, sprint goal success rate, lead time and cycle time per user story, defect leakage, code coverage, technical debt, deployment frequency, change failure rate, mean time to recovery. Prepare sprint reports and quarterly reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Risk Management and Governance:
Timely report risks regarding planning, quality, capacity, and dependencies to management. Contribute to compliance with information security, GDPR, and internal IT policies.

  • Education and Experience:
Master's or bachelor's degree in ICT or equivalent experience. At least 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years as a Scrum Master in a software development environment. Demonstrable experience in simultaneously guiding multiple teams. Experience in a DevOps environment with CI/CD, automated testing, and cloud or hybrid infrastructure.
  • Certifications:
Required: Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM). Advantageous: PSM II, SAFe Scrum Master/Advanced Scrum Master, Kanban Management Professional, ITIL Foundation, DevOps-related certification.
  • Technical Knowledge:
Good understanding of modern software development: version management (Git), branching strategies, code review practices. Practical knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, Jenkins) and quality gate tools (e.g., SonarQube). Basic knowledge of technical analysis, data modeling, and test automation.
  • Skills:
Servant leadership and coaching style. Strong communication and facilitation skills, including in conflict situations. Analytical and data-driven. Diplomatic and able to switch between technical and non-technical interlocutors. Autonomous, proactive, and results-oriented in a complex public sector environment.
