Technician PLC and Control Techniques

Keystone Solutions is seeking a skilled technician specializing in PLC and measurement and control techniques for a consultancy mission at a client site. This role involves executing complex maintenance and technical tasks while designing controls to ensure efficiency and effectiveness within the operational environment.

• →Efficiently and safely plan, execute, and monitor complex technical and/or maintenance tasks to ensure the functionality of installations.
• →Execute sub-projects within the area of expertise.
• →Oversee large maintenance tasks.
• →Maintain up-to-date maintenance records.
• →Identify, analyze, address, and resolve issues and malfunctions in the area of expertise to prevent or resolve process disruptions and defects.
• →Interpret and document malfunctions or alarms.
• →Analyze problems and propose solutions.
• →Perform administrative tasks related to the area of expertise to facilitate data analysis, consultation, and adjustments.
• →Register and maintain data in the management system and logs.
• →Create measurement sketches, P&IDs, electrical diagrams, and complex process controls.
• →Provide input for filling out safety and health documents.
• →Deliver technical instructions and guide internal and/or external staff in using installations to maximize efficiency.
• →Conduct training for colleagues on changes to installations (knowledge sharing).
• →Provide technical and operational instructions to internal or external staff.
• →Monitor work activities.
• →Execute design assignments and functional analysis, from commissioning to implementation, using specialized programming and design software to contribute to the optimization of installations.
• →Translate functional analyses into technical specifications.
• →Design controls, make adjustments to installations, and select necessary materials and components.
• →Participate in an internal/external project group and attend periodic project meetings.
• →Program necessary interfaces for connecting process installations to the corporate network to ensure the functionality of installations across the site.
• →Set up and manage the automation network.
• →Create connections with the corporate network.

You are a hands-on technician with expertise in PLC (Siemens) and measurement and control technology. You are responsible for analyzing and resolving automation and instrumentation issues and making adjustments to small to medium-sized controls. You will work during the day and adapt flexibly based on workplace priorities.

Additionally, you possess:

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field, or equivalent demonstrable experience.
• Several years of relevant experience in a similar role (mid-level).
• Knowledge of PLC (Siemens) and SCADA systems.
• A hands-on and solution-oriented mindset.
• Awareness of the regulated environment in which you operate.
