This opportunity is a consultancy mission through Keystone Solutions, where you will represent us as a UI/UX Designer at a client site. As a Keystone Solutions consultant, you will be immersed in the client’s Transformation Office, translating concepts from concept designers into intuitive and high-quality user flows. You will use components to create user-friendly and visually appealing screens, balancing usability, accessibility, and satisfaction to bridge user intent and business goals, delivering innovative user experiences.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Design all flow paths and screen states with a quality, goal-oriented outcome, owning the digital user flow from a UX/UI perspective.
- →Gather input from stakeholders on user needs and technical feasibility.
- →Seek inspiration from best-in-class examples both inside and outside the financial sector.
- →Ensure intuitive information hierarchy at screen level.
- →Design high-fidelity mockups and prototypes.
- →Follow up on user feedback gathered during usability tests.
- →Collaborate intensively with a dedicated UX copywriter to ensure smooth integration of content in your design.
- →Actively use and contribute to the client’s design system: mobile native and web Mobile First.
- →Contribute to the UX/UI community of practice, sharing best practices and co-creating patterns, standards, and guidelines with fellow designers.
- →Lead the refinement phase of projects and support concept designers with visual support in the ideation phase.
- →Deliver prototypes and pixel-perfect screens, hand them over to development squads, and follow up on their implementation with front-end developers.
Requirements
~1 min read- Profound level of French or Dutch (C1-level) in understanding, spoken, and written language. Ideally, one is your mother tongue.
- Good understanding (B1/2-level) of English; writing and speaking skills are considered an important asset.
- No specific requirements.
- Expectation: 50% on site and 50% homeworking.
- At least 6 years of relevant experience.
- Mandatory:
- Mobile First mindset and proven mobile native design skills (Material Design and Human Interface Guidelines).
- Accessibility mindset with good knowledge of WCAG guidelines and their impact on design and development.
- Proficient user of common design tools (Figma, AI-tools, etc.).
- Familiarity with design systems, including consuming and creating/improving components.
- Preferable:
- Understanding design system component properties is a plus.
- Understanding the technical impact of your designs; a (limited) front-end development background is a plus.
- Mandatory:
- Agile knowledge and ease with the Scrum development cycle.
- Good at documenting work and developing briefs for researchers and developers.
- Creative with structured and organizational skills.
- Goal and quality oriented.
- Enable others to visualize content intuitively.
- Effective team player and empathic listener.
- Open to giving and receiving feedback to improve work and deliverables.
- Proactive and outgoing communication, with strong briefing skills.
- Take ownership of designs throughout the entire product lifecycle.
