Maintains an understanding of the proper steps of service required of all FOH service positions
Have a professional knowledge base of classic and creative cocktails
Can interpret guest’s desires and bring them to life in liquid form
Maintain mental athleticism for coordination between the cycles of service of those dining at the bar, and producing the beverages needed in other areas of the restaurant
Have a base knowledge and understanding of classic cookery, wine, beer, and cocktails
Menu and beverage knowledge is comprehensive and kept current as menus evolve
Communicates and listens to effectively deliver accurate messaging to both guests and teammates
Derives pleasure from providing hospitality
Takes pride in working with a first class team
