About the company:

KIEFER is building Greece's integrated AI ecosystem. From renewable energy infrastructure and AI systems to robotics and enterprise applications, we connect the technologies that power Europe's intelligent future. Founded in 2014, KIEFER has delivered 600MW+ of energy projects and is now developing sovereign AI infrastructure, enterprise AI products and physical AI systems for Greece and Southeast Europe.

As our project portfolio continues to expand, we are looking for a Procurement Specialist to join our team in Athens and play an active role in supporting the timely and cost-effective execution of our projects across Greece.

The Role

This is a hands-on procurement position requiring strong organizational skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to manage multiple purchasing requirements in a dynamic, project-driven environment.

The successful candidate will take ownership of assigned procurement activities, working closely with technical teams, project management, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure materials, equipment, and services are delivered on time, within budget, and according to project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process, from purchase requisitions and supplier sourcing to purchase order issuance and delivery follow-up.

  • Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable relationships with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors.

  • Request, analyze, and compare commercial offers, considering technical specifications, pricing, quality, and delivery timelines.

  • Negotiate competitive pricing, payment terms, lead times, and commercial conditions.

  • Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Engineers, Site Managers, Warehouse, and Finance teams to understand and prioritize project requirements.

  • Monitor outstanding purchase orders, supplier commitments, and delivery schedules, proactively resolving delays and supply issues.

  • Support procurement planning and cost optimization across multiple concurrent projects.

  • Maintain accurate procurement records, purchase orders, supplier information, and ERP data.

  • Monitor supplier performance and contribute to continuous improvement of procurement processes.

  • Ensure compliance with internal purchasing procedures, approval workflows, and contractual requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
