The position and your daily adventures



This is a full-time position based in our Mexico City office with a hybrid model, therefore we are looking forward to seeing you in our office 2-3 times per week. 



As a Payroll Analyst, you will be responsible for the end-to-end operational execution of Mexico payroll and related statutory processes. The role ensures accurate, timely and compliant payroll delivery, maintains strong supporting documentation and reconciliations, and serves as the primary operational point of contact for payroll vendors and employee payroll matters.



This role is designed to operate with a high degree of autonomy. It reports to the Senior People Operations Manager, who retains accountability for payroll governance, controls, risk, compensation decisions and strategic People Operations.



What you can expect:



  • Own the end-to-end monthly Mexico payroll cycle, from input collection and validation through approval support and closing.
  • Validate payroll inputs, including new hires, terminations, salary changes, bonuses, deductions and other payroll incidents.
  • Coordinate payroll processing with ADP and other payroll providers, ensuring accurate and timely execution.
  • Manage and validate statutory payroll processes, including IMSS, INFONAVIT, IDSE, SUA, payroll CFDI and applicable state payroll taxes.
  • Prepare payroll-to-accounting reconciliations, investigate discrepancies and coordinate payroll funding requirements with Finance/Treasury.
  • Maintain payroll controls, supporting documentation and audit-ready records, and support payroll-related audits and regulatory requests.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee payroll questions, providing accurate and timely support.
  • Support special and annual payroll processes, including taxable equity events, tax adjustments, statutory calculations and year-end requirements.




    What we are looking for:

    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
    • 3+ years of hands-on payroll experience in Mexico, preferably in an international, fintech, financial-services or similarly controlled environment.
    • Demonstrated experience independently managing a monthly payroll cycle.
    • Strong practical knowledge of Mexican payroll legislation and statutory processes.
    • Hands-on experience with IMSS, INFONAVIT, IDSE and SUA.
    • Experience with payroll CFDI requirements and payroll tax processes.
    • Experience preparing payroll reconciliations and supporting accounting close.
    • Experience working with external payroll providers; ADP experience is strongly preferred.
    • Experience supporting internal/external audits and maintaining payroll evidence.
    • Intermediate to advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills.
    • Advanced English level is desirable
