Schedule: As needed, based on warehouse volume

Our warehouse is a place where that purpose comes to life. When volume spikes, we count on a few extra hands to keep orders moving and customers happy. By joining our On-Call Material Handler list, you’ll be one of the first people we call to jump in for a day and help get great products out the door.

How the On-Call List Works

This is not a posting for a regular, ongoing position. We’re building a list of qualified, ready-to-go people we can bring in as temporary team members on our busiest days.

• Get on the list: Apply, and meet with our Distribution team.
• Get the call: When volume picks up, we’ll reach out to available people on the list - sometimes with short notice.
• Your choice: Say yes when it works for you. Declining a shift won’t remove you from the list.
• No guarantees: Work is based on business need, so hours and frequency will vary. Placement on the list does not guarantee a set number of shifts or hours.

What You’ll Do

Assignments vary by day and are based on what the warehouse needs most. You may help with:

Loading & Unloading

• Help unload containers and palletize incoming goods.
• Stage products accurately and build pallets to spec.

Order Fulfillment

• Pick and pack orders with accuracy and efficiency.

Assembly & Rework

• Rework product packaging and assemble inventory kits.
• Help complete customer-specific compliance assemblies as needed.

Inventory & Restock

• Help move and restock inventory across warehouse bins.

Warehouse Care & Safety

• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow all Klean Kanteen, local, state, and federal safety regulations.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or GED (required).
• Warehouse, or fulfillment experience (preferred).
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Ability to read and communicate in English.
• Basic computer skills and comfort using a handheld scanner.
• Availability to respond to calls and work on short notice.

Tools You’ll Use

• Handheld scanners, pallet jacks, dollies, tape guns, and thermal & laser printers.

Work Environment

• Onsite warehouse environment in Chico, CA.
• Stand for long periods; bend, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Sustain up to 2 hours of physical activity unloading freight containers.
• Work in varying weather conditions.
