At Kogan.com, our pace is fast and our product range is vast. While we might not have a live vacancy today, we are always building our pipeline for future greatness. We are welcoming expressions of interest from commercially savvy Demand Planners, Assistant Demand Planners, and Inventory Controllers who want to be part of our future success.

Reporting to our Head of Demand Planning, these roles are integral to driving accurate forecasting and optimal stock flow across our massive product range. If you are a proactive professional with an exceptional eye for detail, a curious mind, and a knack for streamlining processes, you'll thrive in our dynamic Purchasing team.

This is your chance to broaden your experience in a pure-play online retail environment and get on the radar of Australia and New Zealand's eCommerce pioneers.

  • Achieving forecast accuracy across all product lines by working closely with internal stakeholders on future demand
  • Actively managing and monitoring inventory levels to achieve company goals and KPIs, ensuring purchase orders are accurate and on time
  • Being proactive and proposing improvements to current processes, thinking critically, challenging yourself and others
  • Ensuring timely import of products and stock management, to ensure an exceptional customer experience
  • Understanding and minimising logistics and warehousing costs by effectively analysing inventory levels and purchase orders’ shipments sizes and frequency
  • Regular demand analysis and audit to avoid potential stock outs and aged stock, taking corrective action where necessary
  • Analysing performance of various product ranges and recommending actions to key stakeholders
  • Ensure we have a minimal number of sold-out products, monitoring them and timely updating of prices, presale dates and stock levels
  • Partnering with key stakeholders to ensure stock levels are sufficient, considering potential demand changes based on sales and / or promotional campaigns
  •
  • University Degree qualified in a relevant field (Commerce, Business, Mathematics or similar).
  • Experienced within or have exposure to Demand Planning or Inventory / Stock Control, preferably within a Retail, eCommerce or FMCG environment. Experience with SAP or Netstock will be well regarded
  • Highly analytical, logical and ready to delve into data - being able to evaluate offers and products quickly to determine if they’re of value to our customers is key.
  • Able to develop strong and effective relationships, through excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • A multi-tasking ninja - we expect you to juggle 50 different tasks at once without dropping the ball (we’re not kidding).
  • A whiz with Microsoft Excel (we’re talking VLOOKUP and pivot tables, not SUM and AVERAGE - and we will test your capabilities).
  • Highly proficient with various IT and cloud-based tools, with a keen eye for leveraging AI to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and boost productivity
  • Ready to challenge, be challenged, and work within our highly disruptive business model.
  • Work with an incredible team to solve important challenges, helping to drive Australia and New Zealand’s eCommerce future

  • You’ll be empowered to achieve positive outcomes and your work will have a real impact
  • You’ll be at the forefront of the eCommerce industry  with us and be part of a company that are the Pioneers of eCommerce in Australia
  • Be an Intrepreneur, playing a hands on role in shaping our strategy at our HQ
  • A range of employee benefits such as; complimentary Kogan First Membership, team exclusive discounts, Health & Wellness program, Learning & Development and Lunch & Learns, Hackathons, Team member referral program, Company and team events and celebrations, community engagement (volunteering) and extensive career development opportunities plus loads more!
