Area Collections Manager / Regional Collections Manager

To lead and manage the collections function for Tractor & Farm Equipment finance portfolios within the assigned geography. The role involves driving collection efficiency, minimizing delinquencies, improving portfolio health, managing collection agencies, and ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory guidelines.

• →Manage collections and recovery activities for Tractor & Farm Equipment loan portfolios.
• →Ensure achievement of collection targets and reduction of delinquency across all assigned buckets.
• →Monitor overdue accounts and initiate timely recovery actions.
• →Lead, mentor, and monitor the performance of field collection executives and agency partners.
• →Develop collection strategies to improve portfolio performance and reduce NPA levels.
• →Conduct regular field visits for high-value and critical cases.
• →Ensure adherence to collection policies, regulatory guidelines, and code of conduct.
• →Coordinate with Sales, Credit, Operations, and Legal teams for resolution of delinquent accounts.
• →Handle escalated customer cases and negotiate repayment solutions.
• →Manage repossession, settlement, and legal recovery processes wherever required.
• →Review collection MIS, portfolio trends, and recovery performance on a regular basis.
• →Strengthen relationships with local stakeholders, dealers, and rural communities to support recovery efforts.
• →Ensure productivity improvement and optimal utilization of collection resources.

• Graduate in any discipline.
• MBA/PGDM preferred.

• 4–8 years of experience in Collections, Recovery, or Portfolio Management.
• Prior experience in Tractor Finance, Farm Equipment Finance, Vehicle Finance, Rural Lending, or Retail Asset Collections preferred.
• Experience in team handling and agency management is mandatory.

• Strong knowledge of collections and recovery processes.
• Understanding of tractor finance and rural lending markets.
• Team management and leadership capabilities.
• Negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills.
• Knowledge of legal recovery and repossession processes.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and collection MIS reporting.
