Your future position
 
Kpler is looking for a Senior Gasoline Analyst to join our Refined Products Insight team, reporting to the Lead Gasoline Insight Analyst. You will play a pivotal role in expanding our analytical coverage of Gasoline and transportation fuels markets, particularly our footprint in the Americas.  You will be encouraged to take initiative in directing your own research and confidently present your findings to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Use your experience to conduct rigorous market intelligence about gasoline markets with a strong focus on the internal US market and the Americas.
  • Identify key market trends and insights on the Americas physical markets to highlight in reports for clients.
  • Assist in pre-sales efforts by conveying Kpler’s view. 
  • Promote research and materials produced within Kpler across all external stakeholders, building relationships with both the mainstream and specialist media.
  • Identify and report on key developments in the oil and refined products space as part of Kpler’s Insights offering.
  • Contribute to the production of company webinars and external presentations.
  • Collaborate with the product and technical teams to further develop our portfolio of client offerings.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or quantitative field, with proven experience applying modeling techniques in commercial or research environments
  • Circa 5 years of experience analysing refined products markets, with a focus on Gasoline
  • Experience with US Gasoline market, particularly regional differences/specs as well as blending dynamics and pipeline flows
  • Experience in producing independent market analysis and insights
  • Skilled at conducting complex analyses across multiple datasets using advancing data analytics tools
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Comfortable with establishing new processes and workflows
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Excel in collaborative team environments while taking full ownership of deliverables
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Previous experience using Kpler data or other cargo tracking tools
  • Physical trading exposure
  • Network of market contacts
  • Experience with data science tools
