We are seeking an Employment Lawyer to join our Legal Advisory team in Bucharest. The role involves providing legal advice and support on employment law matters, contributing to complex client projects, and collaborating across practice groups in both domestic and cross-border contexts.

This role requires strong analytical thinking, excellent drafting and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple assignments in a dynamic legal environment.

  • Legal advisory & delivery: provide legal and business advice on employment law matters by conducting complex research, preparing and drafting legal documents, and supporting the delivery of client solutions.
  • Legal research & analysis: perform detailed legal research and analysis to support informed client advice and ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Contract drafting & negotiation: assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating employment-related contracts and documentation, identifying risks and ensuring alignment with legal requirements.
  • Client & stakeholder support: support client relationship management by contributing to communications, understanding client needs, and delivering high-quality legal outputs.
  • Project & matter management: work within structured project plans to deliver assignments on time and to quality standards, managing multiple priorities efficiently.
  • Knowledge & document management: prepare complex legal documents and reports, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and proper documentation of legal work. 
  • Personal development & learning: continuously develop legal expertise through training, mentorship, and staying up to date with regulatory changes and best practices.

Employment Lawyer for our office in Bucharest with:

  • 2-3 years of professional experience with focus on Employment projects;
  • excellent writing and communication skills in English (good knowledge of additional foreign languages is an advantage);
  • completed Romanian legal studies (international study experience is welcomed);
  • member of the Bucharest Bar with full rights (passed the final Bar Exam);
  • proactive attitude and positive approach to work, strong analytical ability, excellent research, legal drafting and verbal communication skills and a commitment to client service;
  • team worker, efficient, good communicator, flexible and adaptable.
