We are looking for Junior Consultant to join our Risk & Regulatory team in Bucharest – someone at the beginning of their career, eager to learn how to navigate complex regulations and help clients manage regulatory risk.
You will work alongside experienced consultants on projects for banks, insurance companies and other financial institutions, supporting them in understanding new regulations and implementing practical solutions.

You will start by supporting more experienced colleagues and gradually take on more complex tasks as you learn.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Collect and structure data and information: Collect information through document review, basic client interviews (together with senior colleagues), and desktop research. Ensure information is well organized and complete.
- →Support regulatory assessments: Help the team assess clients’ current practices, policies and processes, evaluate how they fit applicable regulatory requirements, and contribute to practical, technically grounded advice for remediation or enhancement, under close guidance.
- →Work on process design and documentation: Contribute to structuring and designing process flows, work instructions, procedure manuals and related operational documentation for financial institutions, based on clear guidance from senior team members.
- →Support preparing client deliverables: Help prepare presentations, reports, appendices and other client deliverables in PowerPoint, Word, or Excel ensuring formatting, consistency and accuracy of content.
- →Knowledge & research: Monitor selected regulatory topics assigned to you, prepare short internal summaries on new regulations or guidelines, and contribute to the team’s knowledge base.
- →Project support & coordination: Assist with organizing project documentation, tracking action items and maintaining project trackers or status reports.
- →Client interactions (gradually): Join client meetings or workshops as a note-taker or observer and progressively contribute with clarifying questions or short sections of presentations.
- →Internal initiatives: Support internal initiatives such as methodology updates, internal trainings, or proposal preparation for new projects.

- You’re Tech-Friendly: You are comfortable using AI and Office tools and open to learning new applications and templates that help us work smarter.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (completed or in final year) in Finance, Risk Management, Economics, Business Administration or another relevant field.
- Experience (nice to have, not mandatory): 1–2 year of experience or internships in one of the following: financial services, risk management, compliance, internal audit, regulatory bodies or consulting.
- Technical skills:
- Basic understanding of how financial institutions operate (banks, insurance companies or investment firms).
- Good Microsoft Office skills – especially Excel (for basic data analysis) and PowerPoint/ Word (for reports and presentations).
- Communication:
- Very good written and verbal communication skills in Romanian and English.
- Ability to explain your work clearly and ask focused questions when you need guidance.
