About the Role
~1 min readWe're looking for a Shift Manager to lead our production operation and deliver safe, efficient and high-quality performance across their shift. You'll be accountable for people, plant, product and process performance, ensuring production targets are achieved while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and hygiene.
Acting as the first point of contact across the Site during your shift, you'll lead and develop colleagues, drive continuous improvement activities and minimise downtime through effective problem-solving and root cause analysis. Working within our Intersnack Working System (IWS) framework, you'll use lean manufacturing tools and Daily Management Systems to eliminate waste, improve performance and support operational excellence.

Operations leadership experience

Experience applying Lean Manufacturing tools and structured problem-solving techniques to reduce losses, eliminate waste and improve efficiency - →
Strong technical capability
A good understanding of mechanical and electrical processes, with the confidence to support operational decision making and continuous improvement activity - →
Excellent communication and people skills
Able to build strong relationships, communicate effectively at all levels and create a culture of accountability, collaboration and engagement - →
Relevant certifications and knowledge
English and Maths GCSE (Grade C/4 or above) or equivalent. Food Safety Level 3, Health and Safety Level 3, Internal Auditing and IWS experience are desirable. Engineering qualifications and FMCG experience would be advantageous
