Oracle Database Specialist

• →Serves as the technical expert for Oracle database design, performance and security.
• →Diagnoses and resolves complex database and performance issues.
• →Reviews database designs, SQL and PL/SQL code for quality and efficiency.
• →Plans and supports database upgrades, migrations and consolidations.
• →Recommends standards, tools and best practices for Oracle environments.
• →Supports high availability and disaster recovery planning.
• →Mentors database administrators and developers.
• →Performs other duties as assigned.

• 7+ years of Oracle database experience across administration and development.
• Expert knowledge of Oracle architecture, SQL and PL/SQL.
• Experience with performance tuning tools such as AWR, ASH and SQL Tuning Advisor.
• Experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard or similar high availability tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Continually required to use common office equipment including but not limited to computers, phones, scanners and printers.

• Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Oracle Certified Master (OCM).
• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure or AWS database services.
• Experience supporting federal government contracts.

Compensation: $53,192.88 - $59,103.20
