Senior Computer Specialist

• →Provides advanced technical support for servers, applications and end-user systems.
• →Diagnoses and resolves complex hardware, software and network issues.
• →Installs, configures and maintains system software and updates.
• →Supports system upgrades, migrations and new technology rollouts.
• →Writes scripts to automate routine technical tasks.
• →Develops technical documentation and procedures.
• →Advises project teams on technical options and best practices.
• →Performs other duties as assigned.

• 4+ years of IT systems or technical support experience.
• Experience with Windows and Linux or UNIX environments.
• Working knowledge of networking, Active Directory and system security basics.
• Scripting experience with PowerShell, shell or Python.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Continually required to use common office equipment including but not limited to computers, phones, scanners and printers.

• Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Microsoft or Red Hat certifications.
• ITIL Foundation certification.
• Experience supporting federal government contracts.

Compensation: $53,698 – $59,665 per year
