An established physician-owned orthopedic group in Rancho Mirage, California is looking for a board-certified or board-eligible Interventional Pain Management Physician to join its busy pain and spine service. Applicants can come from anesthesiology or PM&R and should be fellowship trained. This is a strong chance to build a practice in one of the most desirable places to live in Southern California.

The practice has served the Coachella Valley for decades and has a strong regional reputation. It has 25 orthopedic surgeons, 20 advanced practice providers, 2 spine surgeons and a dedicated pain team of 3 physicians and 4 midlevels. Physicians work in a modern orthopedic campus with an on-site surgery center, advanced imaging and therapy services, and have close ties with a leading regional health system. Referrals come steadily from inside the group.

Full range of interventional pain procedures (no intrathecal pumps)
25 to 40 procedures per day on procedure days, plus outpatient clinic
Medication management is expected, so you should be comfortable with it
Build and grow your own practice with the support of a large referral base

What We Offer

✓$350,000 to $450,000 with a 1-year guarantee

✓2-year partnership track based on performance metrics

✓$35,000 sign-on advance; the guarantee is forgiven after 2 consecutive years

✓35% overhead allocation during the guarantee year, with monthly financial statements

✓Quarterly payments of earnings above expenses and overhead

✓Blue Shield Gold PPO health, plus dental and vision, paid by the employer for the physician

Requirements

MD or DO, fellowship trained in pain medicine
Board certified or board eligible in Pain Medicine (Anesthesiology or PM&R)
Holds or can obtain a California medical license and DEA
Comfortable with high procedure volume and medication management
