Kyivstar.Tech is a Ukrainian hybrid IT company and a resident of Diia.City. We are a subsidiary of Kyivstar, one of Ukraine’s largest telecom operators.

Our mission is to transform lives in Ukraine and beyond by creating innovative technological solutions that unleash the potential of businesses while meeting the evolving needs of users.

With over 700 specialists working across diverse domains—from mobile and web solutions to the design, development, support, and maintenance of high-performance systems—we are committed to driving meaningful change.

We embrace an entrepreneurial culture that fosters continuous growth, challenges conventional thinking, and inspires the creation of transformative products.

  •  Own the end-to-end product design process, from problem discovery and requirements exploration to research, concept development, validation, and implementation.
  • Independently investigate complex business processes, user workflows, and technical dependencies, proactively engaging with stakeholders and domain experts to clarify requirements.
  • Apply systems thinking to design coherent, scalable solutions, considering the product as an interconnected system rather than a collection of individual screens and features.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners, and engineers to understand system architecture, data relationships, integrations, technical constraints, and their implications for UX.
  • Design flexible, modular, and configurable interfaces that accommodate different user roles, complex information structures, and evolving business requirements.
  • Develop reusable interaction patterns and UX frameworks that support future functionality without requiring fundamental interface redesigns.
  • Challenge existing workflows and legacy solutions when necessary, identifying opportunities to simplify complexity rather than simply reproducing established patterns.
  • Conduct user research, develop and validate hypotheses, create prototypes, and perform usability testing to ensure solutions address real user needs.
  • Produce high-quality UI/UX designs, interactive prototypes, and clear design specifications for complex, data-intensive web applications.
  • Integrate AI tools throughout the design lifecycle to accelerate research synthesis, requirements analysis, solution exploration, prototyping, documentation, and design-to-development workflows.
  • Use AI to explore multiple solution approaches, challenge assumptions, identify gaps in requirements, and evaluate design alternatives while applying independent professional judgment.
  • Continuously experiment with AI-powered tools and workflows, adopting effective practices that improve design quality, productivity, and collaboration.
  • Apply and extend the corporate design system, contributing new components and patterns when existing solutions do not meet product requirements.
  • Work closely with developers throughout implementation, providing design support and quality assurance to ensure consistency with the intended user experience.
  • Use product analytics, research findings, and qualitative feedback to evaluate design effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
  • Professional Experience: 2+ years of experience as a Product Designer, preferably working with complex B2B SaaS platforms, enterprise web applications, or internal business systems.
  • Systems Thinking: Strong ability to understand complex products holistically, identify relationships between processes and components, and design scalable solutions beyond individual screens or features.
  • Technical Understanding: Ability to comprehend and discuss software architecture, system integrations, data structures, business logic, and technical constraints with engineering teams. No coding experience required.
  • Autonomy & Initiative: Demonstrated ability to independently explore unfamiliar domains, investigate ambiguous requirements, identify missing information, and proactively collaborate with relevant experts.
  • Complex UX Design: Experience designing information-dense interfaces, sophisticated workflows, flexible data presentations, and interactions adapted to different user roles and permissions.
  • Scalable Design: Ability to create modular, reusable, and configurable UX patterns that accommodate changing business requirements and long-term product evolution.
  • UX Maturity: Experience owning the complete design lifecycle, including problem framing, user research, information architecture, interaction design, prototyping, validation, and delivery.
  • AI-Integrated Design Workflow: Demonstrated experience embedding AI tools into daily design practice across multiple stages of the product design lifecycle—not limited to occasional prompting or content generation.
  • Practical AI Proficiency: Hands-on experience using AI for research synthesis, requirements analysis, ideation, prototyping, and documentation. Ability to select appropriate tools, structure effective prompts and workflows, and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs.
  • AI-Driven Problem Solving: Ability to leverage AI to investigate complex problems, explore alternatives, accelerate iteration, and improve the quality and efficiency of design decisions, with appropriate attention to data privacy and security.
  • Design Systems: Hands-on experience working with structured design systems and component libraries, including adapting and extending existing patterns.
  • Tools: Advanced proficiency in Figma, including components, auto layout, variables, and interactive prototyping, alongside practical experience with AI-powered design and productivity tools.
  • Research & Analytics: Practical experience with qualitative and quantitative research methods, usability testing, and data-informed design decisions.
  • Mindset: Analytical, curious, and proactive problem-solver who is comfortable with ambiguity, challenges assumptions, and balances user needs, technical feasibility, and business objectives.
  • Team Fit: Strong communication and collaboration skills, experience working in Agile/Scrum teams, and Intermediate+ proficiency in English and Ukrainian.
  • Office or remote — it’s up to you.
  • Remote onboarding
  • Performance bonuses for everyone (annual or quarterly — depends on the role)
  • We train employees: with the opportunity to learn through the company’s library, internal resources, and programs from partners
  • Health and life insurance
  • Wellbeing program and corporate psychologist
  • Reimbursement of expenses for Kyivstar mobile communication
  • Location & Eligibility
