Must hold Louisiana Locksmith License

Responsible for the installation and maintenance of locks, keys and security systems throughout Live! Casino and Hotel. Duplicates keys, replaces and re-keys locks as necessary, and ensures that all security devices are in adequate working condition. May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. Typically reports to a manager. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Works under moderate supervision.

Responsibilities

→Install locks and closers in doors and disassemble electrical and mechanical locking devices
→Maintain locking systems including Zephyr Locks and Keeper Systems by repairing and replacing worn springs, tumblers and other parts
→Maintain records of company locks and keys
→Open locks by drilling if necessary
→Any other duties as assigned

Requirements

Must hold Louisiana Locksmith License
Must be able to read, write and understand English
Answer all calls promptly and maintain politeness, pay attention to the needs of guests and team members at all times.
Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment
Ability to use all necessary tools and equipment to perform maintenance functions

High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred
One (1) – 3 years of experience preferred
Must be able to comply with all state gaming regulations, which may include obtaining a license.

Must be able to push/ lift 50lbs or more
Must be able to stand/ walk up to 7 ½ hours per shift
Must be able to stoop, crouch, kneel and reach with hand and arms
Must be able to ascend/ descend stairs for at least 4 hours per shift
Require manual dexterity to operate all necessary equipment
Exposed to hot and cold temperatures consistent with changing seasons up to 7 ½ hrs per shift
