What you’ll do

• Financial accuracy & compliance: Maintain precise ledgers and supporting documents; ensure adherence to accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
• Closings & reconciliations: Perform monthly/quarterly/year-end closings, reconcile accounts, resolve discrepancies, and ensure complete documentation.
• Reporting & analysis: Prepare financial statements and management reports; monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.
• Budgeting & planning support: Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• AP/AR & payroll assistance: Process accounts payable/receivable transactions; support payroll processing and employee reimbursements.
• Tax & audit coordination: Maintain tax records, support tax filings, and collaborate with internal teams and external auditors.
• Process improvement: Recommend enhancements to financial processes, reporting workflows, and internal controls.

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, reporting standards, and regulatory requirements
• Proficiency with accounting software and strong Excel/spreadsheet skills
• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organization
• Analytical thinker with the ability to identify issues and propose solutions
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• High level of professionalism and integrity with confidential information

Preferred skills

• Experience with cloud-based accounting systems (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, NetSuite)
• Knowledge of tax compliance and local regulatory requirements
• Professional certification (CPA, CMA) is a plus
