General Manager

Lead a diverse portfolio of Food & Beverage venues at one of Australia's busiest airports. 

We are looking for a General Manager – Food & Beverage to lead our growing portfolio of venues at Brisbane Airport. 

This is an exciting opportunity for an accomplished hospitality leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a passion for developing high-performing teams, and knows how to deliver outstanding customer experiences while driving strong commercial results. 

Reporting to the Head of Food Services, you will take ownership of the day-to-day operations, financial performance and people leadership across a diverse portfolio of Food & Beverage venues at Brisbane Airport. 

You will play a critical role in setting operational standards, building leadership capability and driving a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and commercial success.

  Lead and inspire a multi-venue Food & Beverage operation, ensuring exceptional standards of service, product quality and customer experience.

  Build, coach and develop a high-performing leadership team, creating a strong culture of engagement, accountability and operational excellence.

  Take ownership of financial performance across the portfolio, driving sales growth, profitability, labour productivity and effective cost management.

  Identify and implement opportunities to improve operational efficiency, customer experience and overall business performance.

  Analyse sales, labour, inventory and operational performance to make informed, commercially focused decisions.

  Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to support business initiatives, venue improvements and new project delivery.

  Ensure consistent compliance with food safety, workplace health and safety, responsible service of alcohol and airport operational requirements.

  Champion a customer-first approach, ensuring our venues consistently deliver an outstanding experience for travellers. 

We are seeking a confident, hands-on leader who combines strong commercial acumen with genuine passion for hospitality and people development. 

• Demonstrated senior leadership experience Food & Beverage operations, ideally across restaurants, cafés, bars or high-volume hospitality environments. 

• Strong financial and commercial capability, with proven experience managing P&Ls, labour costs, gross profit and operational budgets. 

• A track record of delivering strong operational performance, driving revenue growth and implementing sustainable business improvements. 

• Exceptional people leadership skills, with the ability to develop, engage and empower managers to deliver results. 

• A proactive and solutions-focused leadership style, with the confidence to make decisions and drive accountability. 

• Strong stakeholder management, communication and relationship-building skills. 

• The ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced operational environment with competing priorities. 

• Experience operating within airports, travel hubs, entertainment precincts or other high-volume environments will be highly regarded. 

Above all, you will be a visible and engaged leader who is comfortable working alongside your teams, setting clear expectations and leading by example.
