Translates drawings into correctly installed steel and pipe. Walks the job daily, catches interferences before they become rework, and keeps installation moving to the correct tolerance.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Verify equipment setting, elevation, orientation, levelness and alignment against foundation and general arrangement drawings.
- →Supervise grouting, anchor bolt tensioning, soft foot correction and final alignment of rotating equipment.
- →Track piping installation against isometrics, including spool receipt, fit up, support installation and spring hanger settings.
- →Resolve field routing conflicts, raise technical queries with clear proposed solutions, and drive engineering response.
- →Coordinate ductwork and ventilation installation in volatile and hazardous classified areas.
- →Support pressure testing, flushing and cleanliness verification with QA/QC.
- →Maintain the redline markup set that becomes the as built package.
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent field experience.
- Five or more years of field installation on process plants.
- Strong isometric and P&ID literacy and practical alignment and grouting knowledge.
- OSHA 30.
- Rotating equipment alignment certification.
- Stainless and hygienic piping experience.
