Keeps instruments, controls and electrical systems working. Hiring during commissioning is deliberate, as knowledge transfer from the integrator and vendor technicians only happens once.

• →Calibrate, troubleshoot and repair transmitters, control valves, analyzers and final control elements.
• →Maintain motor control centers, variable frequency drives, switchgear and distribution equipment.
• →Troubleshoot control loops, interlocks and safety instrumented functions with the Controls Engineer.
• →Maintain gas detection, fire alarm and emergency shutdown systems and complete proof testing on schedule.
• →Execute preventive maintenance and calibration schedules in the CMMS and document results.
• →Support planned outages and turnaround work.
• →Maintain compliance with NFPA 70E, arc flash requirements and hazardous area installation rules.

• Associate degree in instrumentation, electrical technology or equivalent military or apprenticeship training.
• Five or more years of industrial instrumentation and electrical maintenance.
• Calibration and loop troubleshooting competence.
• NFPA 70E qualified and comfortable working on energized equipment where permitted.

• Texas journeyman electrician license.
• DCS or PLC troubleshooting experience.
• Analyzer maintenance experience.
