We are currently looking for a freelance Yiddish Teacher for one of our clients in North York, ON, Canada.

• Location: Toronto Public Library
• Student Level: Elementary
• Student Age Group: 25-34
• Student's Schedule: 3 times per week, (Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday between 10:00 - 16:00)
• Student's Preferred Start Date: 2026-10-14/As soon as possible
• Student's Motivation: I am a PhD student and need to be able to read old newspapers by the end of the academic year (April)

• Be a native Yiddish speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification
• Have experience as a language teacher, translator or interpreter
• Have a valid work permit/visa
• Live within 30 km of the specified location

• Schedule and location may be flexible based on availability
• Hourly rate is negotiable depending on experience and qualifications
• Freelance position, with part-time hours
• We are not able to sponsor visas
