SAP BTP Integration Specialist

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced SAP BTP Integration Specialist with a strong background in the utilities or energy sector. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and managing integration solutions on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), specifically integrating SAP S/4HANA and SAP C/4HANA to 3rd-party Application, including leveraging Azure API Management to enhance interoperability across platforms. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of SAP BTP Integration Suite, including SAP CPI, SAP Integration Suite, and Azure API Management, with an awareness of the specific needs of the utilities industry.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Integration Design & Implementation:
   • Design, development, and implementation of integration solutions on SAP BTP, connecting SAP S/4HANA and SAP C/4HANA using SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) and other tools.
   • Utilize Azure API Management to extend integration capabilities and ensure interoperability with external applications and platforms.
   • Build and configure APIs, OData services, and event-driven integrations, ensuring seamless connectivity across SAP, Azure, and other enterprise systems.
2. Utility-Specific Integrations:
   • Address the unique integration needs of the utilities sector, supporting processes such as asset management, plant maintenance, service management billing, and customer service.
   • Collaborate with business stakeholders to tailor integration solutions that align with utility-specific workflows, ensuring efficiency and security.
3. Technical Leadership & Strategy:
   • Act as a subject matter expert in both SAP BTP and Azure API Management integration solutions for the utilities industry, guiding best practices and strategy.
   • Evaluate existing integration architectures, recommending enhancements to improve performance, scalability, and security.
4. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
   • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including SAP S/4HANA, C/4HANA consultants, and Azure specialists, to ensure an aligned and cohesive integration approach.
   • Partner with business analysts and stakeholders to confirm that integration solutions meet both business requirements and compliance standards.
5. Documentation & Training:

• • Document integration processes, configurations, and best practices.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior team members and other stakeholders as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in SAP integration roles, with at least 1 or 2 years focused on SAP BTP.
• Industry Knowledge: Strong background in the utilities or energy sector, with an understanding of industry-specific processes and regulatory requirements.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI), SAP API Management, SAP Integration Suite, and Azure API Management.
  • Familiarity with integration to SAP S/4HANA and SAP C/4HANA.
  • Experience with API development, SOAP/REST, OData, event-driven architectures, and cross-platform integration.
• Languages: Dutch proficiency is a precondition, with English fluency required.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative team player.
• Certifications: SAP Certified Development Associate in SAP Integration Suite and/or Azure certifications in API Management are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other SAP Cloud Applications, such as SAP Cloud for Energy, or SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Familiarity with SAP Event Mesh and Business Process Management (BPM) for enhanced integration capabilities.
