As we move on to new projects, the studio that brought you Baldur’s Gate 3 & Divinity: Original Sin 2 is looking for an Associate Lead Engine Programmer to join the team and help us in crafting the high calibre games our fans have come to expect.

Lead, mentor and coach our Engine team

Assist with recruiting of Engine Programmers

Manage code reviews and code features documentation

Work in tandem with Larian Studios other programming Leads

Assist in maintaining, porting and extending our proprietary engine on multiple platforms

Debug and optimize code to hit quality and performance targets

Show a strong passion for low level coding and a big interest in performance analysis

Complete all tasks in a timely manner and to a consistent high quality standard

Develop well designed software within project schedule to team standards

Show strong passion for making the highest quality state of the art games

Safeguard company assets including source code, art work, tools, technical know-how

Demonstrable Lead or Management experience

Extensive experience programming for games

Excellent C++ skills

Strong mentor and coaching ability

Excellent written and spoken English skills

Passion for making and playing great games

Experience with graphics APIs like Directx 12 and Vulkan

Experience with a wide range of CPU and GPU profiling tools

Multi threading should be second nature

This is a full-time, on-site role, requiring your presence in the office to support collaboration and creativity.
