Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Technician to lead and support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of enterprise network infrastructure. This role is highly hands-on and focuses on deploying and supporting network hardware such as switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points across multiple environments. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with the ability to mentor junior staff and take ownership of network deployments and troubleshooting efforts.
  • Lead installation, configuration, and deployment of network hardware including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points
  • Perform rack-and-stack, structured cabling coordination, labeling, and equipment documentation
  • Configure and support LAN, WAN, and WLAN environments, including VLANs, trunking, and routing
  • Troubleshoot complex network issues across wired and wireless environments
  • Support network upgrades, migrations, and hardware refresh projects
  • Validate network performance and ensure stability post-deployment
  • Maintain and update network diagrams, asset inventories, and technical documentation
  • Serve as an escalation point for network-related issues
  • Mentor and guide junior network technicians
  • Collaborate with network engineers, systems teams, and vendors
  • Participate in on-call rotations and scheduled after-hours maintenance as required
  • 5+ years of experience in network support, network technician, or network operations roles
  • Strong hands-on experience installing and supporting switches, routers, firewalls, and access points
  • In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, subnetting, DHCP, DNS, and routing concepts
  • Experience working with enterprise networking platforms (Cisco, Aruba, Meraki, Juniper, Fortinet, etc.)
  • Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex network connectivity issues
  • Experience working in data center, campus, or multi-site environments
  • Excellent documentation, communication, and organizational skills
