LauLau is seeking a highly experienced, dependable, and detail-oriented Accountant to support our US-based CPA and accounting firm clients. This role requires strong expertise in US GAAP, the ability to manage complex accounting functions independently, and the professionalism to work directly with client stakeholders in a high-performance remote environment.

• →Manage full-cycle accounting functions, including general ledger maintenance and financial reporting.
• →Perform monthly bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations with a high degree of accuracy.
• →Execute month-end and year-end close processes while ensuring compliance with established timelines.
• →Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, including Profit & Loss Statements, Balance Sheets, and Trial Balances.
• →Support sales tax filings, regulatory compliance, and other accounting requirements across multiple entities.
• →Collaborate directly with clients to address accounting inquiries and provide professional financial support.
• →Leverage AI tools and modern accounting technologies to improve efficiency and accuracy in accounting workflows.

• Minimum of 7 years of accounting experience, including at least 2 recent years working within a US accounting or CPA firm.
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP with demonstrated practical experience. Candidates with IFRS-only experience will not be considered.
• Professional accounting qualification such as CPA, CA, ACCA, SAICA, or an equivalent designation is strongly preferred.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills with the ability to interact directly with US-based clients.
• Demonstrated professional judgment, integrity, and a strong commitment to confidentiality.
• Advanced proficiency with accounting software and financial reporting tools.

• Proven employment stability, with a minimum of two years of tenure in each prior role.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Advanced, hands-on experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini to enhance work performance and productivity.
