Junior JIPCAN System Administrator

• →System Administration and operations of Microsoft environments
• →Support the Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) cybersecurity compliance, operational sustainment, and other general IT tasks as required to ensure continuous performance and ATO
• →Manage system configuration and operation of servers
• →Manage, configure, maintain client-based computer systems
• →Perform system monitoring, scanning, and response activities
• →Perform administration operations and maintenance activities of hardware and software
• →Perform root cause analysis to troubleshoot system errors and client system issues
• →Perform and maintain DoD Information System Vulnerability Management (IAVM) compliance with routine patching for updates released by vendors
• →Manage, update, and maintain configuration management of all configuration changes to systems, patches and anti-virus software updates
• →Perform system analysis for virtual service health status to include resource utilization and performance requirements to ensure optimal performance of systems
• →Perform routine scans and anti-virus software updates on all systems
• →Perform system automation activities with utilizing scripting tools/languages
• →Provide System Administration support for IT related meetings and configuration change board reviews

• Must have 6, or more, years of general (full-time) work experience
  • May be reduced with completion of advanced education
• Must have 2, or more, years of directly related experience in an engineering field
• Must have a current DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II Certification (e.g. CompTIA Security+ CE Certification)
• Must have an active DoW Secret Security Clearance
