Clinical Nurse Educator - Full Time

• The Clinical Nurse Educator provides a variety of teaching for staff, patients, families and the community. The focus areas are staff education, patient/family education, and community education.

• →Coordinates and participates in the orientation process of new employees.
• →Coordinates and maintains patient/family/staff education programs.
• →Coordinates and participates in community/screening programs.
• →Communicates with other departments/disciplines in providing quality care to patients and/or family.
• →Develops and revises policies and procedures for Patient Care Services.

• BSN preferred, MSN accepted.
• Must have 3 years psychiatric nurse experience.
• Current RN License in Louisiana or multi-state compact license.
• Must be adaptable to change, be decisive, and demonstrate foresight.
• Exhibits organizational and leadership ability.
• Ability to communicate with patient, family, peers and medical personnel

• Work requires a variety of physical activities such as standing, walking, bending, stooping or sitting for long periods of time.
