- The Coordinator of Clinical Outcomes assists in the ongoing evaluation of the organization's Performance Improvement Program. Participate in corrective action discussions and performance improvement initiatives as assigned. Maintains knowledge of organizational compliance requirements and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Coordinates data collection, analysis, and submission activities necessary for regulatory compliance and quality reporting programs. Supports the medical staff quality improvement and peer review process.

- →Supervise Core Measure Abstracters
- →Assists with quality and performance improvement efforts throughout the organization and supports the operation of quality management systems.
- →Demonstrates the ability to appropriately plan and prioritize work, facilitate collaboration, and support shared decision-making and problem-solving activities.
- →Demonstrates effective and professional interpersonal skills and appropriate utilization of resources.
- →Collects, analyzes, and reports clinical outcomes data to identify opportunities for process improvement.
- →Assists in developing, monitoring, and maintaining performance metrics to evaluate program effectiveness.
- →Reviews patient care data to ensure care is provided in accordance with clinical guidelines, regulatory requirements, and organizational standards.
- →Prepares reports, dashboards, and presentations regarding clinical outcomes, quality indicators, and performance improvement activities.
- →Collaborates with nursing leaders, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to implement and sustain quality improvement initiatives.
- →Supports accreditation, regulatory survey readiness, and quality improvement projects as assigned.
- Graduate of an approved School of Nursing; BSN required, Masters preferred.
- 5 years recent RN experience; 2 years acute inpatient specialty experience.
- 2 years experience in quality role preferred.
- Current license to practice professional nursing in Louisiana or multi-state compact license.
- CPHQ certification preferred.
- CPR certified.
- Must maintain required hours of in-service per year to meet requirements for CEUs as stipulated by Louisiana State Board of Nursing
- Ability to communicate with patient, family, peers and medical personnel.
- Ability to analyze data and communicate findings with team.
- Advanced computer skills.
- Requires emotional stability and resilience.
- Must be adaptable to change, be decisive, and demonstrate foresight.
- Exhibit organizational and leadership ability
- Requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to deal with stressful situations and conflict resolution.
- Must have normal hearing or utilize adaptive devices to listen with a stethoscope to discern breath sounds, heart sounds, bowel sounds..
