API (Application Programming Interface) Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced API Specialist to join our team. As an API Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing APIs to support business objectives and improve system integration.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop APIs to meet business requirements and industry standards.

2.Create and maintain accurate and up-to-date API documentation.

3. Ensure API security and compliance with industry standards and regulations.

4. Test and validate API functionality and performance.

5. Integrate APIs with internal and external systems and applications.

6.  Provide ongoing support and maintenance for APIs.

7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, product, and business stakeholders.

Requirements:

1.  Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

2. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in API development and integration.

3. Proficiency in programming languages, such as Java, Python, or C#.

4.  Experience with API frameworks, such as Swagger or API Gateway.

5.  Knowledge of API security best practices and industry standards.

6. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
