A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides basic nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician. LPNs work in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, and clinics, to deliver patient-centered care.
Responsibilities

- Taking vital signs (temperature, pulse, blood pressure, etc.)
- Administering medications and injections
- Changing wound dressings
- Assisting with personal care (bathing, grooming, etc.)
- Monitoring Patients: Observe patients' conditions and report any changes to RNs or physicians
- Documentation: Accurately document patient information and care provided
- Collaboration: Work with healthcare teams to deliver patient-centered care
