LeapFrog Investments is seeking a high-calibre individual to support its Financial Services Investment team for a 3-month internship role, based in Singapore. The primary focus of the role is to contribute to the success of the financial services investment team in its investment and portfolio management activities. This includes playing an integral role in supporting the sourcing, valuation, structuring, due diligence and transaction execution.

Core Responsibilities
- Participate actively in the due diligence process of new investment opportunities and identify areas of value add in corporate governance, operational efficiencies, and product development.
- Support the valuation, structuring, and deal execution process.
- Support the team in managing LeapFrog’s portfolio in financial services including projects targeted at value creation, exit preparation or portfolio reporting/monitoring.
- Contribute to the refinement of investment themes and deployment strategies through primary and secondary research, including conducting market research (e.g. TAM, growth), building sector & key players analysis, and engaging with industry participants.
- Support the investment team in preparing investment committee papers and fund reporting documents.
- Support the day-to-day management of the financial services investment team’s core systems and processes.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Prior experience in private equity, investment banking, consulting, or corporate finance preferred.
- Strong financial modelling and valuation skills with excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Prior experience within the financial services sector (e.g. insurance, payments, or credit) is advantageous.
- Experience working in Southeast Asia markets is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear investment materials.
- High level of professionalism, maturity, and confidence in engaging with senior stakeholders.
- Strong ownership mindset and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team.
- Candidates must have the legal right to work in Singapore. Employer sponsorship is not available for this role.
