Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Act as a liaison between Legacy clients and healthcare providers/pharmacies to expedite medication needs.
- →Monitor and respond to prescription renewal requests within 48 hours following protocol.
- →Handle requests outside standard guidelines, seeking assistance as necessary.
- →Demonstrate expertise in medication prior authorization, including benefit verification and appeals preparation.
- →Maintain precise and current documentation for all activities.
- →Communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
~1 min read- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician.
- Minimum 5 years experience as a certified pharmacy technician.
- Strong written communication skills for accurate documentation in electronic medical records.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Outstanding customer service in all interactions.
- Strong understanding of medication prescribing process.
- Capable of performing core duties of a Certified Pharmacy Technician.
- Basic competency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to navigate and utilize electronic medical records systems.
- Spanish speaking required.
