The primary purpose of this position is to load out crumbled, block, or nutritional yeast trucks, supply departments with materials, maintain plant cleanliness, and unload trucks or rail cars as scheduled. As the relief operator, shifts and schedules may change to accommodate department needs and fill in for other operators. The relief operator is to have an understanding of all jobs in the General Services department. When not covering, this role follows a rotating schedule. Week 1 working hours are Tues-Fri from 6a-2p and Sun from 6a-12p. Week 2 working hours are Mon, Tues, Wed, and Fri from 6a-4p.

Responsibilities

→High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
→Understanding of valves, pumps, pipes, vessels, and batch creation preferred
→Requires ability to operate cleaning equipment and supplies such as vacuum, mop, and floor scrubber
→Requires ability to operate forklift
→Requires ability to prioritize and organize tasks, and follow through to ensure completion of assignments
→Communication skills and customer service skills needed in relationships with others inside the company
→Computer proficiency is preferred
→Ability to work under minimal supervision is required
→Well organized and able to manage multiple tasks and follow through on them
