Football Content Writer (Sports Betting)

On behalf of our client, a dynamic sports betting and iGaming company, we are looking for a Football Content Writer.

You will be responsible for the planning and writing of content related to football matches and football IP, including match previews, match analysis, post-match reviews, football hot topics, and private domain content.

Job Responsibilities

• Focus on Liga MX and key domestic and international football matches, and complete professional content writing such as match previews, match analysis, post-match reviews, and hot topics;
• Combine team news, player stories, injury and suspension lineups, match data, and football hot topics to plan original football content topics;
• Responsible for the daily football articles and content updates on WhatsApp Channel and other private domain channels, including pre-match content, match information, expert opinions, live information, and post-match reviews;
• Coordinate with hosts to organize match materials and support live content, processing the hosts' analytical opinions into content suitable for publication across different channels;
• Track football content trends in Mexico and internationally, continuously optimize content style, topic selection, and output formats, and enhance content appeal and user attention;
• Coordinate with the operations and video teams to complete short video scripts, titles, and other football content production.

Requirements:

• Practical experience in football media, football IP, sports self-media, or related football content copywriting
• Solid professional football knowledge, familiar with Liga MX, major Mexican teams, players, and local football culture, while also understanding mainstream competitions such as the Champions League, La Liga, Premier League, and World Cup;
• Possess match analysis, data interpretation, and information integration abilities, and be able to independently complete professional football content;
• Excellent Spanish writing skills, fluent expression, and clear logic, with the ability to adjust content style according to different channels;
• Strong sensitivity to football hot topics, topic selection ability, and internet content awareness;
• Experience in WhatsApp Channel, Telegram, community, or other private domain content operations;
• Preferred academic background in journalism and communication, sports journalism, new media, history, or related fields.
