The Dispatcher is responsible for the daily dispatching and planning for the LNA private fleet and third-party carriers.
Responsibilities
~1 min readWorking knowledge of DOT regulations, OSHA requirements, and fleet equipment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
Current computer skills in Microsoft applications, SAP, and search engine online programs.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Behavioral competencies include tolerance for stress, practical learning, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, planning, and organizing.
Extremely dependable; the time sensitive nature of this position requires excellent attendance and complete customer focus.
Ability to work Monday – Friday 7am – 4pm
Able to be on call after hours (occasional evenings and 1 -2 weekends per month)
Will be working most of the times in an office environment.
The employee will be required to perform the following actions (from time to time): Standing, walking, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, talking, seeing, hearing, typing, and sitting.
Ability to consistently lift over 15 pounds as needed.
REQUIRED EDUCATION: High School Diploma, GED Equivalent.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: 3-5 years of dispatching and customer service experience.
PREFFERED EXPERIENCE: SAP experience, experience with e-logs & GPS tracking.
