Licensed Vocational Nurses and Licensed Psychiatric Technicians are encouraged to consider a full-time position with Liberty Healthcare’s mental health program in San Diego County.

Liberty Healthcare operates a specialized mental health program within multiple jail facilities located in San Diego County.

The goal of the program is to provide rapid mental health services to people in need - so they may achieve improved behavioral health outcomes as quickly as possible.

• →Providing direct care to jail inmates

• →Administering IV and oral medications

• →Providing health education

• →Observing and documenting health status

• →Collaborating with security staff

• →Ensuring program clients receive high-quality health services

You will split time working onsite at these two jail facilities:

• The Rock Mountain Detention Facility at 406 Alta Road in San Diego, CA 92158 (nearby Otay Mesa)

• The Las Colinas Detention and Reentry Facility at 451 Riverview Parkway in Santee, CA 92071

You will work full-time, 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30pm.
