Senior Onboarding Officer

The Senior Onboarding Officer plays a key role in ensuring the efficient and compliant onboarding of new business relationships at Lidion Bank. The role focuses on conducting thorough onboarding assessments, reviewing due diligence documentation, identifying potential risks, and coordinating effectively with internal stakeholders to facilitate timely onboarding decisions. 

• →Manage and own onboarding applications from submission through completion, ensuring all required information and documentation is obtained and reviewed. 
• →Conduct detailed reviews of KYC, Source of Wealth, Source of Funds, ownership structures, and other due diligence documentation. 
• →Assess onboarding cases, identify potential risks, deficiencies or delays, and escalate matters promptly to the appropriate stakeholders. 
• →Liaise with Business Development, Compliance, and other internal teams to support onboarding decisions and ensure efficient case progression. 
• →Maintain accurate records within the Bank's CRM and onboarding systems. 
• →Ensure adherence to all applicable regulatory requirements, internal policies, and procedures. 
• →Support the continuous improvement of onboarding processes and controls. 
• →Provide guidance and support to other team members where required.

However, given the nature of our operations, onsite presence is required for key meetings, team activities, and other critical business needs. • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Law, or a related field will be considered an asset.
• Proven experience in onboarding, KYC, AML/CFT, Compliance, or a related function within a bank, financial institution, or CSP. (Mandatory)
• Experience in reviewing complex customer structures and due diligence documentation.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and customer onboarding processes.
