Requirements
~1 min read- Recognised Degree qualification within human services or related discipline required.
- Leadership experience in services supporting children and young people, ideally within a residential care setting.
- Sound understanding supporting children and young people who have experienced trauma, have complex needs, disabilities and/or display trauma-based behaviours.
- Demonstrated experience working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
- Significant experience in the leadership and management of multiple services within contractual and financial requirements.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and to deliver high quality outcomes within agreed timeframes.
- Excellent people management skills as the role includes supervision of House Mangers and child and Family Partitioners.
- Excellent skills in managing stakeholder engagement with the Department and Aboriginal Controlled Organisations.
- Current & Unrestricted driver’s licence
Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check, WA Working with Children Check and WA DCP295 Check.
