Medical Laboratory Scientist (Immunohematology) - Multiple Shifts Available

LifeSouth Community Blood Centers is seeking detail-oriented, collaborative Immunohematology Medical Laboratory Scientists to join our lifesaving team in Jacksonville, FL

• Day Shift: Wednesday–Saturday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM; an alternative schedule of five 8-hour shifts is also available
• Overnight Shift: Shifts may include either five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts
• Shift Differential – 15%-20% for eligible evening and overnight hours
• No on-call requirements

Support lifesaving patient care by resolving complex immunohematology and compatibility issues in our full-service, accredited Immunohematology Reference Laboratory. Join a lab culture that values communication, continuous learning, and shared expertise.

• →Work in a full-service, accredited Immunohematology Reference Laboratory
• →Resolve complex immunohematology and compatibility issues to ensure the safest blood for patients
• →Deliver excellent customer service

• National certification as MT/CLS/MLS with ASCP, AAB or AMT, including immunohematology
• Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory, Chemical, or Biological Science
• Familiarity with blood banking
• Ability to work weekends and holidays

• SBB(ASCP) or BB(ASCP) certification

• Hands-on experience in a full-service Immunohematology Reference Lab
