LifeSouth Community Blood Centers is seeking an experienced, results-driven Regional Manager to manage operations within the Montgomery, AL region.

• →Provide leadership and oversight of daily operations within the Montgomery region, ensuring blood collection goals and operational objectives are achieved.
• →Lead, coach, and develop management teams, establishing clear expectations and accountability for performance.
• →Build and maintain strong relationships with local hospital and community partners to ensure blood product availability and exceptional service.
• →Ensure regional operations maintain compliance with organizational policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
• →Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, strengthen team performance, and support continued growth.

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three years of supervisory or management experience required. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.
• Previous experience in blood banking or a related healthcare environment preferred.
• Proven leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to develop teams and engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Strong organizational and decision-making skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities and maintain confidentiality.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to meet and maintain LifeSouth’s driver eligibility requirements.
• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) strongly preferred, or willingness to obtain one upon hire.
• Ability to fulfill the position’s on-call responsibilities.

LifeSouth is a non-profit community blood bank serving more than 150 hospitals in Alabama, Florida, Georgia and Tennessee. With more than 45 donor centers, 55 bloodmobiles and 2,000 blood drives a month, our LifeSouth team is dedicated to making sure the blood is there when you or your family is in need.
