CityWide Transportation Specialist

Decades ago, our nation systematically removed Bible education from the public school day. LifeWise Academy is bringing it back. Under a little-known Supreme Court ruling, LifeWise empowers communities to provide Bible education for their public school students DURING SCHOOL HOURS. Tens of thousands of public school students attend LifeWise Bible classes each week.

As a Transportation Specialist, you are experienced in handling and scheduling transportation services. You hold a CDL license and are skilled in maintaining vehicles with excellence. You can manage a team with clear organization and attention to detail.

We are looking for a gospel-centered, results-driven, and detail-oriented Transportation Specialist to join the LifeWise team. This is a part-time position. This role is crucial to efficiently operating current and additional Columbus CityWide LifeWise Academy programs.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Columbus CityWide bus/van fleet, including scheduling, procurement, and maintenance
• Maintain vehicle records including registration, maintenance and lease agreements
• Coordinate state required inspections and conduct regular inspections of all vehicles to maintain the highest level of safety
• Recruit, train, schedule and supervise CityWide vehicle drivers
• Coordinate transportation needs schedules with Area Directors
• Ensure vehicles are branded with excellence

Qualifications

• A mature personal Christian faith consistent with the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith
• Active CDL license with passenger endorsement
• Experience with driving and maintaining ministry or business owned vehicles
• Proficient in the use of Google Suite
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
