Liquid Personnel is recruiting Advanced Practitioner for its client's Families First Team at Trafford.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Children's Social Worker to work within Trafford's Child in Need Service, supporting children and families through assessment, planning, and intervention. The service operates on a locality basis and is focused on delivering high-quality assessments, strengthening family support networks, and achieving positive outcomes for children.

As an Advanced Practitioner, you will hold a varied caseload and play a key role in supporting the development of colleagues through coaching, supervision, and practice leadership.

Responsibilities

  • →Undertake Child and Family Assessments.
  • →Complete Section 47 enquiries and safeguarding investigations.
  • →Manage a caseload of children supported through Child in Need plans.
  • →Build strong relationships with children, families, and partner agencies.
  • →Support the safe step-down of plans where appropriate.
  • →Provide coaching, supervision, and support to social workers and students.
  • →Promote high-quality practice and contribute to service development.

To be successful in this role you must have, 

  • Qualified Social Worker
  • Social Work England Registration
  • Significant post-qualified experience within Children's Services
  • Experience of Child in Need, Assessment, and Safeguarding work
  • Ability to support and develop less experienced practitioners
  • Strong assessment, planning, and relationship-building skills
