Occupational Therapist - Adults Community

Liquid Personnel is recruiting 2 Occupational Therapist for its client's Adults Community Health & Social Care Team in Mid-Devon.

The role involves supporting adults in their own homes and community settings, helping people maximise independence through assessment, equipment, adaptations and reablement.

• →Complete person-centred OT assessments and case management.
• →Carry out moving and handling assessments.
• →Assess for equipment and adaptations, including DFGs.
• →Complete risk, mental capacity and safeguarding assessments.
• →Support individuals to maximise independence.
• →Work closely with Social Workers, Health colleagues and other agencies.
• →Manage a varied caseload and work across community settings.

To be successful in this role you must have, 

• Occupational Therapy degree/diploma.
• Current HCPC registration.
• Experience working with adults with disabilities.
• Experience with moving and handling.
• Knowledge of equipment, adaptations and risk assessment.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to travel across the Mid-Devon area.
