Occupational Therapist – Adults Social Care

Liquid Personnel is recruiting an experienced Locum Occupational Therapist for its client’s Integrated Care Funding Team within the Adults Social Care Department at Blackburn with Darwen.

This is a full-time locum opportunity offering £30 per hour on a 12-month contract, with flexible working arrangements designed to support a healthy work-life balance.

• →Undertake Occupational Therapy assessments to identify individuals’ needs and promote independence.
• →Assess functional abilities, risks and support requirements.
• →Identify and recommend appropriate equipment, adaptations and care solutions.
• →Contribute to care planning and integrated care funding assessments.
• →Work collaboratively with Social Workers, healthcare professionals and wider multidisciplinary teams.
• →Produce clear, accurate and timely assessment reports and case records.
• →Ensure individuals receive person-centred support that promotes dignity, choice and independence.

• A recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy.
• Current HCPC registration.
• Experience working within Adult Social Care.
• Experience undertaking functional and holistic Occupational Therapy assessments.
• Strong assessment, communication and report-writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
