Senior Occupational Therapist – Adult Services

Liquid Personnel are recruiting for a Senior Occupational Therapist to join the Occupational Therapy & Specialist Assessment Team within Adult Services.

The role involves supporting adults with physical disabilities, sensory impairments and/or learning disabilities, with a focus on independence and safe living at home.

• £35.88 per hour
• Senior Occupational Therapist position
• Hybrid working arrangement (approximately 2 days office-based and 3 days working from home)

• →Complete complex OT assessments.
• →Assess for equipment and major/minor adaptations.
• →Carry out manual handling assessments.
• →Promote independence and safe care.
• →Liaise with NHS, GPs, social services and other agencies.
• →Support and supervise junior staff, students and OT Assistants.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Relevant Occupational Therapy qualification.
• Current HCPC registration.
• Experience working with adults in a social care or community setting.
• Experience handling complex cases and assessments.
• Strong communication and multi-agency working skills.
