Senior Occupational Therapist – Community

Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Senior Occupational Therapist to join a community adult service in Wolverhampton.

This is an equipment and adaptations-focused role, assessing individuals and recommending solutions to support independence, safety and quality of life.

What will your responsibilities be? 

• Complete community OT assessments.
• Assess and recommend standard and specialist equipment, including seating.
• Assess for minor and major adaptations.
• Make recommendations for Disabled Facilities Grants (DFGs).
• Recommend major adaptations including stairlifts, level-access showers, vertical lifts and ramps.
• Work with individuals, families and partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records and provide professional recommendations.

Qualifications & Experience: 

• HCPC registered Occupational Therapist.
• Experience working with adults in a community setting.
• Strong equipment and adaptations experience.
• Experience recommending major adaptations is highly advantageous.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
• Strong communication and assessment skills.
