What will your responsibilities be?
- Undertake assessments of children and families and identify safeguarding risks and needs.
- Manage a caseload of children subject to child protection plans and care proceedings where required.
- Develop and review plans to ensure children are safe and their needs are being met.
- Build positive, professional relationships with children, parents and carers.
- Work collaboratively with schools, health services, police and other partner agencies.
- Maintain accurate records and produce clear, evidence-based reports.
- Attend and contribute to child protection conferences, reviews and professional meetings.
- Promote children’s voices, rights and best interests in all decision-making.
- Work in accordance with relevant legislation, safeguarding procedures and Social Work England standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have;
- Social Work England registration
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- Post-qualified experience
- Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
