Liquid Personnel are currently recruiting for an experienced Advanced Practitioner (Social Care) - Safeguarding to join its client in Liverpool City on a locum basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled practitioner looking to take on a leadership role within a busy safeguarding service. You will provide practice support and guidance to Social Workers while managing complex cases and ensuring high-quality outcomes for children and families.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Manage a caseload of complex safeguarding and child protection cases.
- →Support and mentor Social Workers within the team.
- →Provide practice leadership and contribute to service improvement.
- →Undertake assessments, planning, interventions, and case reviews.
- →Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to safeguard children and young people.
- →Contribute to court proceedings and permanency planning where required.
- →Ensure practice complies with statutory guidance and council procedures.
Requirements
~1 min read- Social Work England registration.
- Qualified Social Worker status.
- Significant experience within Children's Safeguarding Services.
- Previous experience working at Senior Social Worker or Advanced Practitioner level.
- Strong assessment, risk management, and court work experience.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
